You’d be so Proud!
Today was the day!! I got off my but and WALKED to the gym!! Guess what! I JOINED THE GYM. I said what the hell, this is for ME and I want to be healthy and happy!
I did 30 minutes on the elliptical. After my killer workout last Thursday where I ran the escarpment stairs twice I was nearly dead at the end!! I had knots in my calfs!!! They were HORRIBLE. I decided to go a nice pace today. I would like to sustain my workout instead of feeling like death. The elliptical said I burned 350 calories… Good?? Not so sure! I also did some weights and walked home.
I have to say that is a personal victory for me… It is a mini one although one none the less.
Now I am enjoying a Green Monster thanks to the tip from @andsoiran . I combined ice, pineapple juice, a peach, scoop of Vega powder and a handfull of spinach!

No need to apologize for the picture, we need to stop doing that(I do it all the time)! That’s a great picture of someone that worked out drinking a healthy drink:-) You go girl!! There’s no such thing as a mini victory…it’s like being pregnant, victory or not! I say you had a victory!yeah for you:-)

I would love to join a gym, but the budget isn’t allowing it right now…. maybe in a couple months.

Yay for joining the gym! And for walking there!! I love your goals sheet. Definitely something I can incorporate into my workout. It’s the little things! Oh and one more thing…kudos for cutting down on the soda!! That’s a huge vice of mine. 🙂
How do you like the Vega? I’ve seen a lot of HLS bloggers talking about it lately – I’m guessing it was one of the sponsors??
I’m not huge on protein powders but I think I need to bulk up my GMs to help me last until lunch.
I have enjoyed the Vega. Although I did purchase it before the HLS crazy. I imagine that they were a sponsor. I intend to go purchase some of the other flavours. I have my GMs after my workouts… I find by having them I am eating less at dinner time. I have not tired them for a morning breakie substitute or snack yet…
